“We were in town for a family funeral. What a wonderful retreat to relax, celebrate life and reminisce together. There was ample room to eat together, a big deck to enjoy the evening, and the bedrooms are spread out enough the early risers didnt wake the others. Beautiful and tastefully decorated. Fresh Michigan apples were a nice touch!”

“This was not our first time staying here. We come back because we. Really like it here. I must say though, this trip had a couple issues we encountered. 1. Sliding door on this property was not locked when we arrived. Everything was fine but could have had a different outcome. Just giving you a heads up. 2. The dryer was full of towels we had to fold and put away so we had some to use. 3. This was not good! We were going to use the oven for dinner but what we found in there turned us away……

“Great, quiet location on the water with a fairly private setting to allow for relaxation on the sandy beach area. House was very comfortable and most everything needed was on hand. We hope to come back for stay during the warmer months!”

“It was a great get away weekend for us. The beach access was great, beautiful sunrise photos! 60% sand, 40% rocks. The house was perfect for us. Cozy, senior-pet and toddler friendly because it only had a few steps. Nothing fancy about the house, but that’s what we wanted. Could use some renovations (outlet in kitchen didn’t totally work, window A/C unit, new pull-out bed couch) Overall, reminded me of the old hunting cabins turned rentals we would stay in way up north. “We gathered family to come and visit my mom who lives in assisted living. We were able to bring her to the home during the day and some family came every day for a visit. The house worked really well. The entrance was easy as my mom uses a walker. The inside is so warmly decorated that you feel right at home. It was very comfortable for us and very navigable with Mom's walker. The owner had decorated for Christmas, including a Christmas tree, which just made our visit so festive. We had……
