“We had a great stay for the long Memorial Day Weekend. A very comfortable property with everything you could need for just you or a small group. Easy access to Harpers Ferry, hikes, breweries, wineries, and more. Most places are about a 20 minute drive—a bit longer for a full grocery store so recommend stocking up before you arrive. Very communicative and helpful host. Highly recommend!”

“This is a wonderful modified log cabin house in Sharpsburg Maryland. Main floor has compact kitchen, living, dining room and full bath. Ground level is a very cosy living room/den with a fireplace. Upstairs is a comfy bedroom with half bath and an outside room with a daybed. Nicely antiquey furnishings, plenty of games, books, pamphlets, dog toys (!), baby gate (!). Excellent supply of good coffee. (Critical).We were here to see two plays at the Sheperdstown (WVa) contemporary theater……

“We wanted to get out and do some bike rides and play a few rounds of golf, but near to downtown Frederick- the house was oerfect with the two bedrooms and the parking space is key. Wonderful trip, and the house played a big part.”

“The outdoor spaces exceeded my expectations of the property. There is ample space on the deck, the yard is enjoable with the views and firepit, and the front porch rocking chairs are relaxing with a cup of coffee and litening to the gentle rain.Young adults enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to replace mattress in 1st floor bedroom, it sinks a little. That is a small inconvenience considering that everything else was lively and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools.”
