“Great location next to Santa Maria Church and at the center of old city. Great for bar hopping. Neat and cozy room with great view from terrace. Reception was very helpful. We arrived pretty early in the morning and left late in the evening but they were happy to keep our luggage before check-in and after check-out. They even offered us an early check-in by e-mail during the day.”

“Best location, stylish and comfortable. Rooms are just really small - so small that the big window only opens 20% and we but a chair above a closet for the second suitcase. And the view is a wall… a nice brick wall, but a wall. Would stay here in a beat on a quick trip with very little luggage - or only book a front room with a view - but just too tight for comfort. Was too full for us to upgrade our room, which I think would have changed the experience a lot. ”

“Clean, spacious, close to everything! We loved Amaya at the front desk, she was so helpful and the after hours check in was simple. The room was beautiful with a huge outdoor patio including table and chairs. The living room and room each had a door to the patio. The bed was comfortable and clean. The location is very close walking distance to the beach and old town, and there’s a restaurant, and small grocery store right downstairs! The hotel provided coffee pods in the room with a coffee……

“Villa Soro is a beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood with excellent access to both Gros and the Old Town—an easy, pleasant walk. Parking was simple and stress-free, which we really appreciated. While the building and grounds are lovely, we found the restaurant/bar lacked atmosphere—more formal than cozy. “Lovely location. Great gardens and swimming pool area. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The bar staff in particular couldn’t do enough to help you. Nice cliff top walk down to St Jean de Luz. All in all, we had a very pleasant two night stay here. Could have stayed longer!”
