“If you are looking for a central place to stay so you can visit the surrounding areas, i.e. New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, then this is the spot. A updated cottage with 1 bedroom, kitchen, diningroom, a huge bathroom with washer & dryer. You have your own separate driveway from the host's main house. The shared covered patio beautifully lit at night was a excellent place for grilling. There is a private hot tub located in the back overlooking the bayou. Lots of great food around. ……

“The only thing I would add to make this experience better would be lamps in the bedrooms. Some smaller coffee cups in the kitchen. Bedroom with the window unit stayed really cool. The rest of the house was a little warm. We enjoyed our stay. It was very close to the lake end where we enjoyed camping, boating and fishing with friends”
