“We were excited for our stay, but it was overshadowed by safety and cleanliness issues. The host’s dog knocked over multiple children, including our 5-year-old, who scraped her knee on the sidewalk and still wears a large bandage 1.5 weeks later. The listing didn’t disclose that a dog would be roaming freely, even while tethered, which made outdoor time feel unsafe. We requested a partial refund, but were told we should’ve asked the host to put the dog away—even though they weren’t home much.……
