“This is a great inexpensive motel. The rooms are clean, the bed comfortable and the air conditioner is almost silent as it is a mini-split. This will be my go to place when in Halifax. It’s a basic motel and my room had a small kitchen table and 2 chairs so it’s not a place to just hang out.”

“You could not ask for a better host than Claire! She was so kind to us during our stay. The house was just as described and the perfect place for us to stay for our 30th anniversary trip to Nova Scotia. The views were amazing, the beds were so comfortable and we enjoyed the cozy fire. The deck was the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. Nearby Polly's Cove is a beautiful hike. We highly recommend this property!”

“Great house. Some of the furniture needs changing like the dining room chairs that are very wobbly.3 bedrooms in basement are only doubles so like my son and his wife that are bigger people they had to sleep separately. All in all there was a great view and it was worth the prixe.”

“The cottage is just perfect for a quiet relaxing vacation! It was extremely clean and it had all the provisions you’d have in your own home. You can tell the owners take great pride in this cottage, they are also extremely responsive. We rented in April so they came out a couple hours in advance to turn the heat on for us which was above & beyond! We loved the wildlife, we saw so many deer!
