“I stayed here 1 night during a business trip. Everything went fine during the check in and the room was what I expected- a little dated but that is the style of the hotel. My main complaint was that at 2 am I was woken by loud banging (hammer on metal) that lasted for the remainder of the night. I could hear people yelling and didn't feel safe to go check to see what was happening. The hotel reception didn't speak English and wasn't able to tell my what the noise was. I was very worried……

When I arrived to the hotel there was a gross black liquid substance all over the bathroom floor and toilet and used feminine hygiene pads laying next to the toilet on the floor. “Absolutely unique property in the heart of old Patiala. The management team, led by Deep Singh, has painstakingly brought this heritage site back to its prior glory. Service was attentive. “HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - everything, right from the condition of the rooms to the service of the staff was downright disgusting. The suite was infested with big flies - not just one or two but so many that we could not even kill all of them and after many hassles and phone calls were moved to another smaller room which was also as bad as the suite. “It was a good overnight stay 1. nice and safe car parking which is important for me 2. rooms are clean 3. excellent breakfast 4. good wifi, could get work done. The hotel is bang on the highway; the Google Maps incorrectly shows that you should take a left ( coming from Amritsar to Delhi) around 1 km before the property and travel on a side road. But you can directly turn left at the property from the highway. ”
