“This is a lovely property! The loft is well-maintained, nicely decorated and has a comfy bed. James was responsive and attentive. The view was gorgeous and it was a great place to relax on the deck, enjoy the sunset, play cards and listen to all of the birds. The road was tough and I highly recommend AWD with a high ground clearance if possible. It may have been tougher than normal due to all of the rain that has come through there recently. We had an awesome time, beautiful new cabin, GREAT VIEW, well equipped....the cabin has everything you need. lovely place. We had dinner in Luray Town (15 mins away) in the Chop House Bistro (great food). Used the jacuzzi, fantastic family time.”

The host was wonderfully accommodating, the house was beautiful and wonderfully decorated, and we just really enjoyed ourselves. **if you’re going in the winter and it’s snowed at all — you’ll want 4wd or AWD, our only issue had nothing to do with the accommodations, just in getting one of our two vehicles up the hill ”

“We spent three fabulous days here in June/July 2024. The property itself is beautiful and in a spectacular setting. Communication with the owner was very smooth. The location is ideal for exploring the Shenandoah area and we enjoyed driving the Skyline Drive, a visit to Luray caverns and kayaking on the Shenandoah river. We came back in the evenings to eat out on the deck followed by relaxing in the hot tub and watching the spectacular sunsets. Very special memories made, totally recommended.”
