“Little rock was a great base for us whilst visiting the area to see family, it has everything we needed. The only issues were parking access, this is extremely tight due to parking or other cottages and a redundant gate post.”

“Herbert Cottage is right in the middle of everything Newlyn, an active yet picturesque fishing village with great restaurants & cafe has to offer. Just a short stroll to Penzance &short car rides to all the lhighlights it’s really well situated. Although centrally located it’s peaceful & quiet with everything you could want. Lenn was a great host”

“The cottage was lovely and only a few minutes walk from the coastal path. Despite a mixed bag of weather, we enjoyed a couple of sunsets and a starry night. We had a car so as well as local coastal walks; enjoyed finding the many surrounding ancient stones and trips to the Barbara Hepworth Museum and The Minack Theatre. All of which were wonderful. We ate at The Gurnards Head and The Tinners Arms - both were faultless in ambiance, service and food quality. Would love to return again some day. ”
