“Very clean and decorated perfectly as a lake house. The kitchen was very well equipped, even having spices for cooking. The beds were comfortable and made with high quality bedding. The property has Internet, cable TV in every bedroom and the living room. The backyard has a large grassy private lawn and covered porch with plenty of seating, a propane grill and fire pit and private access to the lake. Portage lake is dreamy -- perfect for paddling. We hope to return next year for a longer……

“My dad worked on Loring until it closed in 1994, and dad wanted to come home and visit. My 2 boys came up for the 1st couple of days and were able to fish alittle bit. ”

“Rick and Lisa are excellent host, place was clean and a great view. Martins store is right next you and they serve a great breakfast and lunch. ”

“We stayed here during a motorcycle trip and it was a great location. Because there are 2 main streets close by there is the sound of cars driving past, but that didn’t disturb us at all. The house is charming, and very comfortable for our group of 4 adults.”
