“We enjoyed this oasis of quiet and stillness more than anticipated. Josh had very welcoming and it was easy to slip into a few days vacation at Bear Mountain Lodge. The rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. Escaping humidity and the mundane-ness of hotel stays was our goal, but we didn’t appreciate how the lodge helps you to stop and slow down. We used the kayaks, kitchen facilities and outdoor areas which were well maintained. Josh and Bianca were great hosts and we recommend a visit!”

“We love Maine summers and Jenny's home is perfect for our family. We look forward to the relaxation and getting away from things for a while. “This is a lovely, roomy unit with great views over Johnson Bay. Bed and couch were comfortable and the kitchen well laid out for preparing meals. I was attending Summerkeys for a week so made most breakfasts and lunches as well as some dinners.Felicia responded quickly and appropriately to a minor issue and also lifted down the toaster which I, as someone who is vertically challenged, couldn’t reach!”

“Beautiful cottage that had everything we needed. Very clean and only minutes from downtown. The only feedback I have is the use of the laundry detergent. Tide has a very strong scent that is not pleasing to many people. The use of a scent free detergent would create a neutral but clean appearance on the towels and bedding. ”

“Stayed for a week and enjoyed every moment. The house was clean and very well-equipped. The location was very private and easy to access. We swam every day. The lake and waterfront were very swimmable, but I recommend wearing water shoes as it can be a bit rocky. Proximity to the coast and Eastport, Lubec, etc, is great. We were very comfortable here. We had our 80-pound dog, Stella, with us, and she approves as well. We would definitely return. Zero complaints.”

“Was so impressed with how clean the cabin is. Very new, internet worked fine. But you’re there for the nature and water fun. They supplied some canoes and snacks and laundry supplies. Very nice folks. They will answer any questions very fast, just give them a call. Beautiful lake, the river goes right to the lake and has Excellent fishing on it. Don’t hesitate to book this 5 star cabin in the woods and enjoy the nature!”
