“My husband had to work in Machias, so we had the opportunity to stay in this spacious house with our four kids. Although the weather wasn't ideal, we hardly noticed because the house was filled with an abundance of games, puzzles, and movies! We had a blast the entire time we were there. I also appreciated the decor and especially loved the cozy quiet spots where I could escape with a good book. ”

“Overall, our stay in Lubec was amazing! The location was fantastic - beautiful views, and less than 10 minutes from town. The house was lovely and well supplied. The lobster pot was perfect and the kitchen was very well stocked. There were a lot of flys in the house during our week there. Never did figure out where they came in the house, but they were bad and they did bite! Also a lot of spider webs that had not been knocked down in a while. The upstairs deck furniture cushions were too……

“Home is just as described on VRBO Amazing views from home of Harbor, gorgeous sunrises. Home is over 150 yrs old , has been renovated with all modern comforts yet has maintained its charm. Comfortable beds, kitchen well stocked with all cookware, etc. Host responds quickly. Highly recommend this property. Close to amazing coastal views!!!”

“The space, location and layout of this house was really nice for our group of seven friends and we had a great week. The host was very responsive and communicated well. The heat was not working downstairs upon arrival, but he had a repairman come in to fix it and he also came over immediately when we were having trouble turning the fire pit on. House seemed neat and tidy when we first arrived, but we quickly noticed the floors were not well swept or vacuumed and both a coffee table and side……

“Another amazing stay at one of the best rentals available in Eastport Maine. The owners are truly amazing even offering me an extra night to avoid the pending snowstorm on Christmas Eve. This really meant a lot and just goes hand and hand with the quality of this great rental. Everything about the house was perfect for our third holiday spent there. Couldn't ask for a better experience, location, and level of comfort.”

“We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house is very large, and the hosts have added so may extra touches, that make it really feel like a home. It's beautifully decorated, and the kitchen is equipped with anything that you might need. There is a great guest book with a lot of info about local dining, places of interest, and lots of info about the house. All in all, it is a gorgeous house, with all the extras you could ask for. “PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT. Excellent lakefront property. Hoise is well loved and cared for. Very clean. Plenty of outdoor area to run around. The penisula is a great spot for morning sunrises and catching some photos of loons. Many kayaks to enjoy time on the lake, laumch right fromt the beach. Plenty of indoor activities as well. The owners thought of everything when preparing the home for vacationers. There was not one time cooking that we didnt have what we needed. Kitchen is well stocked……

“Our 3rd stay at Seaside Sanctuary and this time we stayed 2 weeks. Stacey is always super-communicative and the house has everything you could possibly need. We were able to get in some nice day trips down to the Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia National Park, Milbridge, Calais, Eastport, Reversing Falls, Machias & Jasper Beach. We caught a sunrise at West Quoddy Head Lighthouse and explored Cobscook Shores and points around Lubec and the Bold Coast. We spent about 1/2 the time there just "being" at……

“Firstly Kelly the property manager was amazing when I had a problem with my credit card. Second, the house was very clean! The house was just right for us. Cozy and has good vibes:) yard for the kids and hammock were lovely and can’t beat the kitchen view. Location is close to Quoddy light and lubec center and groceries. All you need is within 10 min. We would happily stay in this sweet little house again.”

“We needed a place to collapse and reset! This was perfect! Secluded and private with a beautiful sandy beach overlooking the lake. Not having to transport our own kayaks was a great plus; kayaks in good shape. The light over the main dining table was not working, as well as a few electric outlets -- we bought a lantern at Walmart in Calais and did just fine. Got a few really cold showers -- finally figured out one of us needed to shower in the am and the other in the pm to get 2 hot……
