“Firstly Kelly the property manager was amazing when I had a problem with my credit card. Second, the house was very clean! The house was just right for us. Cozy and has good vibes:) yard for the kids and hammock were lovely and can’t beat the kitchen view. Location is close to Quoddy light and lubec center and groceries. All you need is within 10 min. We would happily stay in this sweet little house again.”

“The house was amazing! Lots of Victorian decor. Centrally located in Lubec to all the tourist attractions we were interested in seeing. Geno was a great host. When we had a problem with lighting the outside firepit, he came over in no time. A plus experience. We enjoyed the pool and pool table the last day of our stay.”

“We spent a glorious week at this lovely cottage! This cottage is an absolute gem! We have visited Lubec many times and the lodge we usually stayed in was booked so we tried this rental. It is our new favorite! The property owner, Catherine, is exceptional - she has added many touches to the rental that are over and beyond what a traveler expects from a rental. I am a horticulture professor and naturalist, my husband is a hobby photographer, and we are both avid birders. This property was perfect……

“The location and view are even more beautiful than the photos, and the cottage provides a fascinating glimpse of Maine history. Michelle and her husband were friendly and generous hosts who helpfully answered our questions. The king-size bed in the master bedroom is the most comfortable bed I've experienced. Abundant wonderful hikes and beaches are nearby. We hope to be able to stay here again!”

“PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT. Excellent lakefront property. Hoise is well loved and cared for. Very clean. Plenty of outdoor area to run around. The penisula is a great spot for morning sunrises and catching some photos of loons. Many kayaks to enjoy time on the lake, laumch right fromt the beach. Plenty of indoor activities as well. The owners thought of everything when preparing the home for vacationers. There was not one time cooking that we didnt have what we needed. Kitchen is well stocked……

“The house was exactly as shown and is gigantic. There were just two of us but it would be perfect for a party of 10 or more. The deck was lovely to sit out on in the morning and evening as it had a serene lake view. The home had everything you could want from pots and pans, kayaks, games and a lovely welcome gift. It's a close drive to a few restaurants and shops which we frequented each evening.We would absolutely stay here again and the hosts were a delight, too.”

“Our 3rd stay at Seaside Sanctuary and this time we stayed 2 weeks. Stacey is always super-communicative and the house has everything you could possibly need. We were able to get in some nice day trips down to the Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia National Park, Milbridge, Calais, Eastport, Reversing Falls, Machias & Jasper Beach. We caught a sunrise at West Quoddy Head Lighthouse and explored Cobscook Shores and points around Lubec and the Bold Coast. We spent about 1/2 the time there just "being" at……

“We spent 4 nights at Birch Haven in July. It’s in a lovely, quiet, remote location just under 9 miles from Lubec. The cottage is well-equipped and comfortable, surrounded by woods. The pictures are an accurate representation. We enjoyed watching the sunrise from the deck, listening to birds, watching squirrels do their thing. We saw deer as we drove in and out of the home and spotted seals in the harbor. Really loved watching the tides come in and out, and smelling the sea. The tidal range was……
