“Beautiful, large, artistic apartment decorated with woodwork and pottery. Excellent location, right acres the street from the ocean. Fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing against the shore. There is a bedroom upstairs as well as a Murphy bed on the main floor. The bathroom is on the main floor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!”

“The house was beautiful, great setting in the woods for our family gathering for a Stanford graduation. The drive up and down is a bit challenging but worth what's at the top. Our hosts were responsive and had taken great care to provide an absolutely comfortable and flexible setting for multiple family members.”

The privacy that the 5 individual rooms offered was really nice each room was comfortable and well appointed.The proximity to the Boardwalk and the pier couldn't have been better. “We couldn’t have picked a more perfect place. It fit our group perfectly. Plenty of space to gather work and cook. 4 bathrooms made it easy for 4 ladies to get ready in the morning. The showers were good pressure and plenty of hot water, nice tile as well. The master bathroom is fabulous with a large modern soaking tub. The location is perfect too. Great neighborhood for a walk or run. Very safe. So close to the mall where we had several events to attend at Pinstripes, very good and Philz……

“We rented the penthouse apartment/top deck and the 3rd floor villa for 9 adults. Fantastic views and huge kitchen to cook group means. Absolutely will rent this villa again if/when we are doing the Santa Cruz Ironman or anytime with a group. Indoor, secure parking appreciated also. 1 block from the beach and pier. The manager is readily available if/when questions come up. ”

“Absolutely outstanding property. The views are so tranquil and the inside is so comfy and beautifully designed. Wish I can come back and not leave the place for the whole weekend! Highly recommend. The only bummer is we weren’t able to heat the pool but luckily the temperature was refreshing! Keep in mind- getting Ubers is a little difficult with the gate entry and spotty service outside the house. I wonder if there’s an easier way to go about doing that. ”

“The hot tub did not work. And was not advised. Owner did not informed us and knew a month prior. We choose the property for the hot tub. Was very disappointed. There was not enough hot water for everyone to shower. otherwise the property was beautiful. The view was beautiful as well. We had a great time.”

“Arriving after a long flight from Australia, we were a bit stressed about where we were going to live over the next 2.5 months and whether it would support our lifestyle, love of nature, and desire to prepare our own healthy food. What a relief to arrive at Joseph & Shery's villa and receiving a warm welcome including a tour through the vast garden with select sitting areas under huge redwood trees, a beautiful veggie garden, and even a chicken stable. Moreover, they have their own water well……
