“There seemed to be a mixup with our booking as we had booked for 3 people online and were told in person that that wasn't possible. Given that it was late, we decided to stay and were charged more for the room. The room was clean, the AC worked, and it met our needs for the stay.”

“It’s a gated oasis between the airport and Tikal. Beautiful room with lake views. Jacuzzi is as lovely as expected. However the museum and the boat trip to see spider monkeys are above expectations. Quality of meals could be better for the price. ”

“Hotel Gringo Perdido was a truly great place to stay during our 3-day trip to Tikal and other historical sites. The asphalted road leading to the entrance of HGP is probably the best road in the area as it was recently poured and a second pouring is scheduled soon. The HGP staff were very welcoming and informed us of the complimentary breakfast as well as the complimentary dinner.
