“Wonderful retreat. Lovely surroundings with visiting deer and many kinds of birds. Peaceful atmosphere with all the essential amenities for a stay home and enjoy vacation or a home away traveling roadshow like ours. “Our group of 5 stayed for 4 days in March. This property met all of the basic expectations of a good stay: clean beds, fresh towels, plenty of toilet paper. Beyond that:The good:- Hot water was great- House heat was plentiful and quick. - Wifi password was clearly identified on the router (not sure if that is new based on earlier reviews, but it was a non-issue for us)- Roku TV worked perfectly- Kitchen was updated; we only used the fridge, microwave, and Keurig, but everything in the kitchen……

“This stay was the last checkpoint for our Midwest trip, the room itself was pretty nice, very cozy. but there are several unsatisfactory points. the pillow quality was really bad, it doesn't have a microwave. the bathroom has exhaust fans but does not work, We did contact guest service, and they did come, He looked around and told us that the bathroom itself did not have an exhaust fan.(yet there is literally a visible fan on top of them?) pretty unhappy since we had to stay there for 9 days.”
