“I really liked this facility. The rooms were clean and spaceous. The reception was at the end of the bar which didnt work well as the staff were a little distracted. We got there in the end though. Restaurant was lovely though it closed early due to short staff. That was a blessing in diaguise as we went to a loval Italian which was amazing. “Lovely one night stay. Check in was easy and staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was lovely with a comfortable super king size bed. Only slight issue was the room felt cold and the air conditioning unit didn’t seem to want to generate heat. Lovely wool throw blankets on the beds kept us warm though. “The staff was friendly and professional. The hotel building is beautiful and full of histories. The halls and meeting/functions are decorated with good tastes. We were allocated a room on the top floor, which was unfortunately very stuffy and warm, no central or wall mounted air conditioner other than a stand alone fan/cooler. The dinner was delicious though a bit pricey. The spa facilities are pretty good, but the steam room needs a bit of updating.”
