“What a wonderful find! We have been staying in Rangeley for years for week long vacations but all we needed this visit was one night for a lovely wedding at the Mountain Star Estate. This spot was perfect..a warm welcome, adorable spotless apartment, and perfect location near downtown and the venue. Highly recommend and will not be our last stay when we want to steal away to enjoy a couple days of some Rangeley love!”

“The apartment is charming. The location is ideal. The owners are friendly and helpful. We loved having coffee on the dock in the morning, swimming and paddling on the lake, walking into town, exploring the area, and enjoying the view in the evening. As others have mentioned, there was a lot of ferrying visitors back and forth from the island, but once we got used to it, it didn't bother us at all. We were also happy that we could bring our dog. ”

“We booked for two nights. Had an awesome time at Sugarloaf. Such a nice experience to be able to get right on the lifts in the morning and ski back down to the place after dinner and drinks at the base restaurant.”

“Wonderful 2-bdrm condo that is so convenient to the slopes.Communication with the owner was incredible, he proactively reached out to tell us that due to high winds the lifts were closed so we could modify our plans a bit.Fresh local coffee was a really nice touch and much appreciated.Thanks for a great long weekend, hope to do it agin in 2026!”

“Large roomy apartment with 3 bedrooms. Convient and easy to find location. Kitchen very well equipped. Very well lit which I like a lot. Like that they put suitcase racks in each bedroom. Lost of extra pillows and blankets. Very clean. Comfortable beds.Very happy with the off street parking. and location. Just a block from the big Paul Bunyan Adirondack chair, the ice cream shop, and oriental restaurant. So, very nice location.The bottom step was a little high for us short folk. One of us……

“Proximity of the property to the lift and fitness center was ideal, walking distance to both. The major downfall is the 58 steps it takes to get to the unit itself. Definitely a difficult scenario after skiing all day or carrying belongings up. Would have been nice if there was access to the dumbwaiter. Overall a nice place.”

“We booked this apartment because it's very close to our family that lives in Farmington.It gave us a comfortable, clean place to hang out and enjoy some time with our family. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and the living room was really nice to hang out in. We'll be back again! THANK YOU”
