“Our stay at The Swope Manor was magnificent! What’s a COMFORTABLE BED! Have not been that rested, comfortable and slept as late in years! Breakfast was delectable, with fresh fruit, French toast and sausages that left us ready to tackle the day. The property is beautifully maintained, with each room lovingly appointed, and again…THE BED (chefs kiss). We have an EV, so driving down from NY we were a bit concerned with keeping her battery full, but there was a charging station in the public……

“We had a nice stay although only 1 night. Everything was clean in the room and throughout the hotel. The breakfast was pretty good. The staff was friendly. We would stay here again and recommend it if you’re visiting the area. ”

“Good historical inn! We stayed in a historical building next to the main one. Since it is a historical building, you will have thin walls and stairs. The main building had an elevator to the 2nd floor. We didn’t eat breakfast but went to a coffee shop 2 buidings over and it was excellent coffee and chai tea. The Dobbins tavern across the street had a historic atmosphere with good food.”

“The property was very easy to get to and close to Gettysburg battlefield. The breakfast was good and had a lot to choose from. The had biscuits and gravy with bacon and sausage 😋 They also had fruit, boiled eggs and pancakes. The perfect start to the day.”
