“Overall experience is good”

“Cozy and comfortable house so close to all Stockbridge has to offer. I so enjoyed walking into town in the morning. I am a walker (my husband not as much) but we were both so grateful that we could walk to dinner prior to heading out to see a couple shows at Tanglewood. Claudia's property is less than 15 minutes from Tanglewood, which was another plus. The house is very clean and had all the necessary pots, pans, coffee makers, etc. to make our breakfast at home before heading out for the……

“Stayed over Labor Day weekend for Dromfest, a small local music festival. House was cute, spotlessly clean, and check in was easy. Bed was comfortable, water pressure was great. Kitchen was stocked with everything you would expect. Walking distance down the hill to Main Street. We will be back!”

“This house was perfect for us - and exactly as described in the VRBO description. It was really well-appointed, particularly the kitchen. But the little details were great - the products in the bathroom, etc. It just made for a very easy, enjoyable stay. Sabrina is also really responsive. There was a WiFi issue the night we arrived, outside of their control. She kept us posted as she heard from the provider and even gave us a small reimbursement for our inconvenience. “We chose this property because of the age (1740s farmhouse) and convenient location in the southern Berkshires only 15 minutes or so from Great Barrington. The house did not disappoint. It is a very charming farmhouse in excellent condition for its age and with modern amenities. As we only had four adults, there was plenty of room to spread out. The property is very private off the main road with beautiful surroundings. We only wish the weather were cooler or we would have enjoyed a wonderful……

“We stayed at Ray's house in August 2025 for two nights -- two adults 8 year old twins. It's a great house! Perfect size for us with very comfy beds. It was also very well-stocked with extra towels and all the toiletries you may need. Communication with Ray both before and during the stay was excellent. Highly recommend! ”

“As soon as we pulled into the drive way my truck blew its water pump. Steven the owner of the property was amazing took my husband 3 times to town to get what he need to fix my truck. Room was very clean, quiet, we had a wonderful vacation inspite of my truck, because the owners were so kind, generous people.”

“The interior of the house is comfortable, light and airy, with windows that look out on the lake. Exerior needs some work, washing machines underground, area could use some clean up. Lost running water for a day due to problem with pump, owner on it immediately. Location was terrific, about halfway between Rhinebeck and the Massachusetts border. Good walks in beautiful countryside.”
