“We absolutely loved staying at Jeanne and Jim's charming home. The setting is perfection with a lake view, a patio for our use, and a charming rental unit with every amenity we could need. It was spotlessly clean, well maintained and QUIET! We really needed a calm, relaxing getaway and this was exactly what we had hoped for and more. Red Hook and the nearby area is also lovely and had many great restaurants to enjoy. Hosts Jeanne and Jim were so welcoming and thought of every detail. We can't……

“We stayed at this Vrbo on a cold winter day. Out our window was a beautiful sight: a snow laden forest with a winding brook. The bed was firm, the way we like it, and the heating system was noiseless keeping us toasty all night. There were cooking utensils, a small fridge, an induction hot plate, a microwave and a toaster which was all we needed for our cooking needs. When we arrived after a long drive I made myself a hot tea and relaxed on the big comfortable couch.I highly recommend this……

“Only complaint was the gravel road to the property was a bit tough to travel on after a storm, lots of potholes. But otherwise great! ”

“The property was misrepresented as two bedroom when only one. The location of the second bed does not have a door nor a closet. A desk was listed and not in the apartment. I used the apartment for remote work and needed a desk. Many of the power outlets did not work. The lamps in the bedroom with a door did not have light bulbs.When the oven and stove did not work, the owner responded 6 hours later after I notified VRBO and Evolve. She told me the stove needed to be plugged in. This required me……

“This location was perfect for hiking the AT. The trail is only a few feet from the front door. The backyard is very nice, and they had chairs and tables to sit out. The apartment was a nice size for two people. There was no tv, so we used our computer. The kitchen was great to have since we didn't plan on eating out every night. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. The hosts were great and very responsive. The fall colors made the trip extra special.”

“The studio sits up on a hill with beautiful views of the surrounding area. The location is private (it shares a driveway and parking with the adjacent main house, also rented), yet easy to get to right off the main road. Super convenient for all the area has the offer. The studio is charmingly decorated and has enough amenities to make a great stay. ”
