“Wonderful stay on a lake. Weather wouldnt let us ski so we enjoyed the lake, movies and soaking in the beautiful views from the deck and floor to ceiling windows!”

“This place was absolutely incredible, out in the country, private setting, and the deer come right up to the porch, or you can see them in the forest. Next to you can see the lake from inside and they leave binoculars in there for you to look at the lake . We saw a bug eagle from a many dears.It was awesome .. It's only a few minutes from the lake period very comfy, a lot of room and we will definitely be back”

“The Copper Harbor Peninsula is so quiet this time of year, exactly what I was looking for. The well-equipped house was easy to find and access and perfectly set up. “The Little Brown House was exactly what we needed. We came up to pick up our son from Michigan Tech. I was very appreciative of the recliners because I have a medical condition in my lower back that causes pain when I have to sit up straight. Having a recliner allows me to be comfortable. The property was very well maintained and clean. My only complaint, and I realize it is just me, is the bed was way to firm for me, just a persal preference. “We had a great short weekend at this property. A couple of things we noticed that brought down the rating just a bit - some of the dishes were put away dirty (seemed to have oil or butter on them) and the dishwasher didn’t seem to get dishes fully cleaned. We also noticed that anytime the stovetop was on it would make the smoke alarms go off (food was not burnt or smoky, it just happened immediately after turning the burners on) unless the stove vent fan was on which was kind of concerning. ”

“We booked this place for MTU graduation weekend so we would be able to grill out and celebrate the achievements of our grad and this place did not meet but exceeded our expectation. The few things that were not already out (since winter in the UP ended yesterday) the owner got out and ready to go when asked. So not only did we have everything we needed but the location and space were perfect for everyone in the family. Plus, we were treated to amazing sun rises and sunsets every evening……
