“My sisters and I gather annually without our spouses/kids for a girls weekend. We love the northern neck (it's relatively equal distance for all of us) and this house was amazing. Even though it was February and we couldn't enjoy the water and pool, the views were incredible. The house was exactly as described, communications with the host were stellar, the house was amazingly clean, the beds were super comfy and the location to great northern neck restaurants and fun shops was perfect. “We had such a wonderful time! The location was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. The house was very comfortable and clean making it easy to just relax. Note to future renters - the property and it's amenities have been greatly loved. The peddle boat rudder wasn't working, one of the kayaks was cracked and leaking, hot tub never got up to temperature, several nails were popping up out of the deck which had several loose boards and splinters, and the kitchen needed some work as the knobs were……

“The house is lovely and the view of the river is gorgeous - especially the sunsets. There are huge windows looking out into the the trees and the river. There was plenty of space for all 8 of us. The kitchen has everything you would need - even popover pans! The owners were wonderful: when the kitchen faucet broke, they fixed it immediately.The private beach is lovely too - although we couldn't really use it that much given it was December. It would be great to come back in the summer.”

“This three-story Federal-style home has a delightful view of the York River. The only thing I didn't give five stars to in my review was the property listing, because the photos simply don't do it justice. The rooms are generously spacious, with a deck on both the first and second floors. The entire third floor is one huge bedroom, with two double beds. The second floor has two bedrooms as well as laundry facilities, and EVERY bedroom has its own full bath! We were astonished at how big this……
