“The owners and our wonderful breakfast maker are very helpful, welcoming and friendly. It's a very nice place to stay while enjoying the many hikes in the area (Rainbow Falls, etc.). Comfort was great except that our room and bathroom were a bit crowded for my husband who is larger. The walls are thin if you have neighbors. The facilities are relaxing and nice. We enjoyed a nice (expensive) Italian meal at a fine restaurant next door. ”

“We rented a pontoon and explored the lake all week. Returning to the home each evening was a relaxing retreat but our favorite part of the home was enjoying coffee on the deck surrounded by nature. ”

“The Windy Hill Lodge was even better than the pictures and Susan & Iric were so kind and helpful!We love the NC mountains and the Cashiers / Sapphire / Toxaway area seem to have an endless amount of great trails and beautiful waterfalls. Would recommend this property to everyone. ”

The setting for the water garden to the outdoor fire pit and two open decks and hot tub to the tasteful furnishing fully equipped was a delight. “We loved the breath taking panoramic views of the mountains! The kitchen was well equipped for all our cooking needs. The house was a great size with plenty of outdoor space with seating. The beds were comfortable. The host was helpful with things to do in the area and responded quickly about inquiries. Beautiful area to take our morning walks.”

“It was the perfect house for our stay in Sapphire for a wedding at the country club across the road from us. Easy and convenient! Rooms and bathrooms were all super spacious and the indoor and outdoor fire pits were our favorite part. The a great option for a cozy getaway to the mountains! ”

“Our family gathered together for a long weekend here. Great location on Lake Keowee, tucked back in a cove. We read the other reviews and dropping the boat at High Falls County Park was perfect. We were able to turn our boat trailer and vehicles around in the driveway so we could easily get out. Each kitchen was well stocked with all you need to cook (pots/pans/utensils/etc.) and great coffee makers. Lots of outdoor seating. Nice beds and pillows. Beautiful view, clear water, clean dock. Loved……
