“The continental breakfast included two choices of cereal and really delicious muffins. The room was recently updated and the staff was very helpful and personable. This was the nicest place I've stayed in for a long long time. We usually stay at best western, holiday inn, or Hampton inn. I enjoyed the inn at the beach much more. ”

“Older property and the rooms are a bit small but the very friendly staff, price and location can’t be beat. Very close to the beach. I come to Ventura once a year and have stayed here before and would again. ”

“Overall we had a very unpleasant stay there because there are many (thousands) ants in the room. Everywhere from night stand to bathroom. When we complained about this, we didn't receive room-change service or complete/partial refund. Considering how much it costed, I rated the stay as the worst experience ever in my life. ”

“I was in town visiting family. This unit is very easy to get to and from, in a beautiful location. I stayed for one week, and it was perfect for me (actually MORE than I needed, but better to have more than you need than less!). Would absolutely stay here again”

“We have stayed in several rentals, and this one was better furnished than any. It was very comfortable and clean. The host checked in to make sure everything was right, and it was. Beds were great, plenty of linens, and the kitchen was more than fully stocked. The only complaint I had was the bbq. It was a Coleman portable and needs to be replaced, although I made it work. I still give this place 5 stars and would give it 6 if possible.”

“We had the most incredible stay at "Chateau by the C" to celebrate my birthday this past week. This picturesque oceanfront beach house exceeded all expectations. The large windows offered breathtaking views, and the home was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of seating both inside and out. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and there's nothing like falling asleep and waking up to the soothing sound of ocean waves. The house came fully equipped with everything we could……
