“My husband and I were looking for a quiet place to relax and "reset" from a very stressful year.Heritage Jewel provided us with the perfect spot and so much more than we were looking for. Tammara and Cleatus treated us like long lost family members from the moment we arrived. We especially enjoyed being treated every morning for breakfast and great conversation.This hidden gem is in the perfect location. Who could imagine looking at the Piton and wanting to leave? Road into the rental is no joke, but after the first trip up and down you get used to it. If you have a long travel day and are a first timer, I do recommend getting a ride from the airport. “Truly amazing unobstructed view of the pitons AND the sunset. We lived on the porch! Bed was comfortable and AC worked great. Kitchen was well stocked - we cooked a lot of our own meals. Owners recommendations were thorough and clear. Onsite manager, Damian, was soo helpful and easy to work with about rides and restaurants reservations. As other reviewers noted, the road to Anse Chastenet is rough but doable. We walked down to town and got rides back up. Such a wonderful gem of a spot. The……

“Just returned from our holiday at The View and it was a spectacular experience. The home is incredible, spacious, private and lovingly cared for by Viola (love her) the housekeeper and Kris the property manger who is very attentive and helpful. “The Villa is a spacious home with an equipped kitchen and several sitting areas inside and out. It's quite private, with its own (small) pool and deck; it's less than 15 minutes' drive to Rodney Bay which has many restaurants and shopping venues. “Group of 6 had a wonderful time. The house was located down in a very secluded area. At first the very steep hill was a challenged but we overcome by using it as a form of exercise over the 7 days stay. Access to transport would help a lot on getting around because it is a good walk up and down a hilly terrain. The pool was very small but it was ok to have a place to cool off after a long day of touring. Since the back of the house was close to the main road the noise at night was a little loud.……

“The property was really cool, definitely has its differences from a resort. 1. No Tvs 2. No real sence of privacy ( open air living ) 3. I would be very cautious with toddlers at this property. “The Villa has a stunning view of Marigot Bay. It is located central West of the island & we got a car rental, which means driving North to Rodney Bay or South to Sugar Beach was good (still 1 hour each way due to windy roads).Here are tips & tricks for fellow travellers looking to book here. Make sure to state NAME OF VILLA when you arrive at customs. There is no street names, just signs to the various villas since Marigot Bay is small. “The views from this villa are breathtaking! Every morning you wake up to an amazing view of the Pitons. The house is spacious, comfortable and located in a private area. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Bernard, the house manager was also who we hired for our transportation. He’s very knowledgeable about the island and did an incredible job navigating the local roads which can be steep, narrow and bumpy at times. “This property was perfect for us. We were a group of 5 women who have been friends since elementary school celebrating a big birthday. The house was perfect for us as we each had a bedroom, the Polaris gave us access to nearby restaurants and the beach as well as exploring the neighborhood. “Lively property with an amazing view of the Pitons. This was a last minute getaway so room options were limited but I choose what was called a garden view room and was pleasantly surprised to find the front patio of the cottage overlooking the Pitons. Property is just outside of town, but it's on a very steep windy hill so walking to and from town would be tough, but doable for the hearty. Beach in the area is so-so, but Anse Chastanet beach is just outside of town, but its down a very rough,……
