“Unbelievable amenities. We did all things local. Rented a pontoon boat one day. Used the kayaks and rode bikes including two provided at the cottage. “The house was clean and lovely; the lake was beautiful. The owner, Joe, was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboards, and the kids had lots of fun playing in the water. It was a wonderful place for a family vacation!”

I have to say, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms as well as the massive kitchen island and well stocked cooking and dining supplies served us well.The pool was amazing and the slide and basketball hoops were a big hit. We loved that plenty of pool towels, goggles, balls and other pool toys were provided.The yard had lawn games provided and plenty of room to spread out as well as enjoy the hot tub and fire pit. We used it as a test run to see if we could handle a trip with our three dogs…so grateful you were one of the few places accepting multiple (large) dogs.The dogs did not mind the mucky lake bottom as much as I did, but as a Michigander I should know better. Glad we were there not on a boat-crowded weekend.The house itself is renovated modernly/stylishly.But with no dishwasher, some of the dishes were dirty out of the cabinets. A couple small issues addressed with the host, who was immediately responsive. A for communication. Easy in and out. Only real issue was the large house water filter ran a cycle at 9p for an hour which made it not possible to go to bed. Host assured me they would address it for future tenants.
