“We had a short stay to extend our week from another rental. It suited our purpose of having a place to put our heads at night. Cottage is well lived in with some repairs needed. Very animal friendly which was a bonus for us traveling with a dog. Most supplies available (no toaster). Shower only. Parking is located at nearby church and house is short walk down a path connected to lot. This is where we unloaded and carried our stuff to and from. In the summer there is more activities available and……

“The house had all the conveniences of home. Within walking distance of the Tabernacle, Jigger Shop, Playhouse, tennis courts, the Hideaway & playground. Rails to Trails within 1 mile. The parking spot in back of the house is a bit tight but ok for a smaller car. I would recommend bringing bottled water.”

“We stayed for two nights while attending a local event. Overall, the place was bigger and cozier than it appears—clean, quiet, and charming. The driveway easily fit three cars. The main bathroom is modern, the attic bedroom is well-insulated (great for kids), and the deck offers a nice lake view (though there’s no direct lake access). We appreciated having a dishwasher and detergent on hand.Note about the attic bedroom: there is no inward stair rail--which is a safety hazard. Be cautious when……

We wish we had time and appropriate weather to enjoy the porch. This is the perfect little cottage especially if you want a weekend away from city life. It is a short distance away from Blur Marsh Lake which has lots of good trails. ”
