Beth’s Place had great access to the four colleges in the area (all of which we visited), the locks at Massena, and a wonderful hike in Colton. So much to see in the area! The weather didn’t cooperate for us to kayak in April, but the views on the river were exquisite, especially from our private hot tub. “This stay was a homecoming for me, since my parents had lived right on the St. Lawrence, and nearly the entirety of my late mom's family still live nearby. The area is largely agricultural, with many dairy farms and green pastures. It is a truly beautiful part of NY State and we were very much looking forward to getting back there to visit.
