“I read the reviews and was a little worried about the snakes that a past renter mentioned. We are very happy to report that we did not find any snakes at this location inside or out. Our grandchildren enjoyed the stay which included being outside and catching a lot of fish. The only issue we had were that the beds were not very firm. Our grandchildren asked when we were going to come back. We do plan on visiting in the future. Thank you for letting us stay at your cabin.”

“This is a great little cabin. Plenty of room to spread out. Nice location right on the trails and right on the lake. Love the gas fireplace and the sun porch (great for getting on all the riding gear in the morning without overheating inside the house!) The kitchen could definitely use a good cleaning and some previous renters didn't leave things very clean (I found some pretty yucky unwashed things in the cabinets). The provided towels and sheets are on the thin and "well used" side. But……

“My son was getting married in the area and was able to book this place and add an extra day very easier. The cabin was very clean and well maintained and stocked with the necessities Very happy with our stay and will stay here again.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Stone Lake Lodge. Beautiful location, well equipped, clean, quiet. Pet friendly was a plus. If one could not enjoy this place they may as well stay home! Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway.”

“This property is very relaxing and homey. It was perfor the 5 of us that stayed. There were so many beautiful waterfalls around the area, and not far from Lake Superior! Sitting out back by the pond listing to the frogs and watching the dragon flies was actually relaxing. We even saw a mother and baby deer a few days come to the pond! We loved our stay and would love to go back and experience it in the fall.”

“The cabin was clean and simple and perfect. There was nothing fancy and it was exactly what we needed for a weekend to unplug and just relax. We will definitely go back, maybe stay for a full week next time! The only drawback back is that the sheets were scratchy. I’m picky about sheets though and my husband said they were fine.”
