“Was a great place to get together with old friends. Everything we needed with plenty of room for everyone to relax. The space was well appointed. It was nice the way the bedrooms were set up. People could sleep in, get up early, take a nap, cook, etc without disturbing others. While groups are great, all the couples appreciated the ability to get away for downtime also. We will probably be back next year!!”

“The house is extremely comfortable, with good-sized bedrooms, comfortable seating, and a well-stocked kitchen. The hosts are friendly and very responsive. The house is located in a wooded area close to Itasca State Park and Park Rapids -- a wonderful location. The only suggestion our group has was that the hosts remove the plug-in fragrances throughout the house before guests arrive since some people have fragrance sensitivities (we unplugged them and that took care of the issue). “Was a beautiful place. Very accommodating and had everything you needed and then some. Wished we could have stayed longer. Property was extremely clean, beach and dock made for nice sunset viewing. Plenty of wood for fire pit on beach. The directions to the property were spot on. I'm seriously considering renting it out next summer again!! “Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay here. The kids loved sitting around the bonfire and making s’mores. Our puppy loved running around inside the fenced area and joining us on our family trip. The location of this home was convenient for visiting Itasca State Park. The only thing we found disappointing was that the dock was already pulled in. Our boys were looking forward to being able to fish off the dock. The owners were very communicative and shared with us a location near by for fishing.……

“Drop dead gorgeous lake without the jammed, crowded lake houses so many other Minnesota lakes offer. Unique island location. The sauna was immensely popular with everyone. Special feeling to float in the lake at night after the sauna experience. Armada of toys and games kept the young ones engaged. Kayaks and paddle boards. Two fridges were ever so helpful when you have a party of 12 as we did. Communication with the host was lightning-fast and friendly. The island is a magnet for fish. Overall,……

“Said there was AC but only a small window unit to cool the entire cabin. Very misleading. Shower facilities terrible. Some beds were in terrible shape for sleeping. Tiny TV with poor Internet connection. Overall would never recommend this VRBO.”
