“Excellent communication throughout the process beginning with making reservations to checking out. The cabins were clean, staff friendly, lots of activities to do on site. The breakfast was amazing! I loved the fire pits setup. Highly recommend this place. It was close enough to Detroit Lakes and other towns that had activity available like the beach. ”

“We had a great time. Everything you would expect from a Minnesota Cabin. The lake was nice and caught several nice fish...we put them back so they're still in there. Dog loved it. Too hot for the hot tub but looked well kept and perfect for cooler weather. We'd go back again. Friendly neighbors/people passing by on the lake. There was one restaurant about 15 minutes away. Brought a George Foreman and that worked out nice for cooking. There was a grill but never used it/looked at it.……

There are a few things that I wish I would have paid more attention to including the amount of stairs in the cabin, the approach to the dock, the dock itself, and the lack of yard space to play. Dave was very open about the approach to the dock and not being able to wade in or swim off the dock due to a soft lake bottom. We did encounter a small issue with the septic system, but the owner responded promptly and went above and beyond by offering a large refund for the inconvenience without us even asking.
