“Best cabin any of the 12 people in our group has ever stayed. The original walk through the cabin had everyone in awe. Many places both indoor and outside for everyone to hang out. Tons of space to spread out with gathering spots for everyone to be together. After 30 years of renting several different properties for our annual spring get together, we have found a new landing spot to enjoy for years to come. ”

“Booked the property only a week before our visit. Super convenient access to the north entrance of Itasca State park.Some items of note: the bathroom door latch did not latch. The pillows kept falling down in the space under the headboard. The water pressure in the shower was only so-so at best. The temperature was very good. Lots of space in the unit - girlfriend suggested a small chest of drawers to unpack stuff into. We did have great interaction with Christine (owner) at the next door ice……

“We enjoy all of the features of this place and the privacy. Great view of lake, plenty of space and special touches to welcome guests. Had a nice bonfire one night (dry wood is provided). Plenty of room with more than one level for guest. Love the outdoor balcony too.”

“Was a beautiful place. Very accommodating and had everything you needed and then some. Wished we could have stayed longer. Property was extremely clean, beach and dock made for nice sunset viewing. Plenty of wood for fire pit on beach. The directions to the property were spot on. I'm seriously considering renting it out next summer again!! “We had a great time at the cabin it was well equipped with everything we needed. We had a great time ice fishing and spending time with family. There was plenty of room for all of us and lots to do. “Love this little cabin -- just close enough to Park Rapids, yet far enough out to enjoy the peace of being up north. Perfect size with the two bedrooms, and roomy bathroom. Love having the laundry available also. My only suggestion would be to have a few lamps (living room and in each bedroom) so you don't have to rely on just the overhead lighting. But we really do love this place -- did you notice it has the biggest kitchen island in the history of up north cabins?? LOVE!”
