“We stayed here last year, or maybe it was the year before, and it was very nice for each. Quiet, especially at night, out of the tourist-y busy-ness of the nearby Orchard Beach. A block walk to a beach entrance and some close-by walk-to and drive-to restaurants. A little Maine-sque-Tiki-Bar kind of place is a short walk away. Salty Bay I think - although I called it the Crusty Crab while we were there. I assume the Bayley people are girls, although I don't actually know that to be the case,……

“Loved it!!! The house was perfect for our family. The location was amazing even with snow on the beach. Distance to Portland museums and restaurants was just 20 mins. We would stay again. Our only thoughts for improvements would be that the house temperature was set at only 55 degrees when we arrived and the kitchen table pendant lights would not turn on. Minor things but worth noting.we arrived ”

“This cottage is cute and cozy, and such a great location! Right on the salt marshes, walkable to Pine Point restaurants, and bike-able to Old Orchard Beach. It was super clean, REALLY comfy bedding, and Bayley Vacation Rentals was very communicative and helpful with guidance on check-in/-out, recs, and just checking in on us to see if we needed anything or had questions. ”

“A great space for a weekend getaway with the spouse/partner! Cozy without feeling cramped, very nice kitchen space, comfortable bed. Nicely decorated and stocked with all the necessary basics. Our short stay unfortunately coincided with some unseasonably cold and wet weather, but it was the perfect place to hunker down and relax.Great location with a short walk to the beach and The Clambake restaurant (plus a few other places if you’re going in season). Nice view of the marsh out the back……

“Very nice little house. That being said, the house was good for us as we weren’t there much, but if you plan on spending a lot of time in the house it is small, the bathroom is made for small people. I would recommend this listing as the host is very quick to respond and very pleasant and helpful.”
