The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Cumberland Gap, making it easy to explore the scenic trails, historic sites, and local dining spots. The cottage itself has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with charming décor that gives it a rustic, homey feel. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to relax after a day of adventure.That said, there were a few small things worth noting.……

“Inside of the house was very nice and very clean. There were no pictures of the outside of the house to help identify it and with the proper address in MAPS it takes you to 202 East instead of 202 West.”

“Tricky drive. Steep climb from dock to Lookout. To be fair, it looks like the high percentage of homes on Norris lake had steep climbs from dock to residence. I think it's called, vacation in the mountains! If I had one suggestion, it would be some kind of sun block for the deck in the evening. It faces the west and would be more pleasant with an awning or something. We loved our stay ! Steve and Kathy are great hosts. Such nice people. Norris lake is the prettiest lake I have ever been……
