“Really enjoyed our stay. Hubby and I stayed 5 days with our two little dogs. Everyone enjoyed the Cozy Cottage. It was clean, tastefully decorated, well stocked and the host was very accommodating. We’ll miss our stay, and can’t wait to return someday. Also, the little black kitty became our friend! Excellent place!”

“The house was splendid for our family. We had five adults, a 12 year old, and a 7 year old. We had plenty of room, the mutual space was great. Two full bathrooms, nice kitchen, comfy living room. I would have liked more towels, toilet paper, etc. We only got one towel per person, and one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. For a 5 day stay it would have been helpful to have more. Lovely area, close walk to the beach access. Had an issue with our sink not draining, the property manager was on top……

“Mattresses were hard. No full length couch made it difficult to get comfortable. Kitchen faucet was extremely loose. Refrigerater had a lot of rust on the outside, but was clean on the inside. Windows need replaced, as the seals in the glass are broken, making it difficult to see the ocean from inside the house. The deck was very nice. The gates on the deck made it nice for sitting ouside with our dog. Just a few steps to the beach made it nice for quickly coming and going between the beach and……

“The house was perfect. Well stocked with everything needed. Nice and clean Nice quiet neighborhood with easy access to beach . My grandkids said “best vacation ever”.”

“The house is located in the beautiful Emerald Isle Beach. We realize that everyone is getting back to work and jobs after the Pandemic and there are I am sure staff shortages, however, the cleanliness was noticeably lacking. The dishwasher was broken and lock on sliding door broken. Sun and Surf was easily reachable and quick to respond . Staff was friendly and helpful since we talked to maintenance several times. The HVAC gentleman was very nice and knowledgeable when he came out on the next to……

“We had some maintenance issues pop up with the house this time but the property managers were extremely responsive and prompt in fixing them. The house is lovely and well-stocked with everything needed for a week away. I loved it that management gave us extra towels when we needed them. The golf cart is fun and makes getting to the beach a breeze. Our family enjoyed the board games. One request: please get a pool heater :)”

“Really good experience; great layout for meals and conversation for nine people. The property needs a bit of TLC, but nothing that hindered our stay. One cabinet door was off hinges. Table lamps needed for both sides of king beds; things like that, trivets and hotpads to protect the table, new or sharpened knives. If you aren't cooking much, these things won't bother you at all. The short walk to the beach on wooden path was wonderful to protect from sand spurs. Lovely stay.”

“We had a wonderful experience. There were two families that stayed and the room layout allowed for each set of parents have their own master along with the kids having rooms. Kitchen layout was perfect and the view from the top level office made for a great place to remote work a few days. Awesome TV in the media room! We had to call maintenance for a lock on a door that was a problem. They came right out and were able to get it resolved quickly. We had a great stay at this location.”

“The house is on the beach and it’s the best part. Although everything was functional, the house is in need of deep cleaning and fumigation. We were welcomed by cockroaches in the kitchen as soon as we walked in. The proposed have roach spray under the sink but roaches were a problem our whole stay. There was no soap in any of the bathrooms and just a bit of washing liquid in the kitchen. Maybe we’ve been spoiled by other properties we’ve stayed at with complimentary toiletries, but this house……

“We loved this place the minute that we walked in the door, already booked it for next year. The area was breathtaking and it was so cool to see a few deer,right in the development! The beach was beautiful and peaceful. Found a lot of neat shells. Really enjoyed taking many walks here. The wide sidewalks and neighborhoods were awesome! We ate breakfast out every morning. The food was amazing. ( The Trading Post, Marks Family Restaurant and Yana's were our favorite. We ate dinner at Amos……
