“1st vacation in years for "us Grandparents". Honestly, just looking towards the western sunset made our stay excellent. My wife and I only drove a couple of hours for this stay and we would have traveled much further (if needed). Overall, it felt like a home (away from home) for us. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out for a spin on beautiful Lake George, taking a long walk around the lake, and spending lots of time catching up and visiting in the cozy home. “This home was 10 minutes from Hillsdale colleges clay target competition center. We spent the week competing. The home was very clean and had what we needed. ”

“This cottage was a surprise gem! The pictures on the listing don't do it justice. The pictures show the lake cottage charm well, but we had no idea how many updated, modern features the cottage would have. From power outlets with USB chargers to incredible kitchen appliances, you will find both traditional lake charm and contemporary features. The owners were amazing and incredibly kind and responsive. The only thing that was a little unexpected from the listing was that we didn't realize the……

“The hosts were very responsive. Lots of unexpected amenities like hot drink bar, super clean home, full sizewasher and dryer. Great wifi, but the view out back was so good. Don't let the simple front deceive you, really nice! If we are back up this way, we would definitely rent again. ”
