There is space for a car if you're driving (although I brought my bike!) “We loved the two outdoor spaces as it gave us room to entertain our family who live on Arran. We had fabulous weather so it was lovely to be able to sit in the sun or shade as preferred. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds comfortable. Ian was very helpful. The location is amazing- walking distance to everything.”

“Excellent little cottage located in a quiet hamlet. The beautiful weather enhanced our holiday. Many an evening was spent relaxing by the stream in the garden. Perfect for our dog too. The beach is just across the road, and was usually empty so we had it to ourselves most of the time.Great kitchen facilities and cozy living areas. “The cottage is cosy, clean and very inviting. Shiskine is a wonderful place to stay, quiet and very appealing. It's very close to Blackwaterfoot, which is beautiful. The Kinloch Hotel does marvellous meals (takeaways too). What really makes the stay worthwhile is the landlady, Jan. Last year, when we couldn't get off the island due to ferry problems, Jan put us up for an extra with no charge. “ 6 of us visiting for our friends 60th at the Glenburn hotel. Can't fault anything, thanks for providing the good weather😊 10 minute walk from ferry and town, got car parked fine. People with mobility issues may struggle to walk from road up to the apartment as it's a bit high. But honestly it's worth it if you can. ”
