“It is an older property which has been updated with the necessaries, including kitchen and bath. We chose it for the location but mainly, because we were able to bring our two dogs. There were six of us and although the cottage was cozy, we were perhaps a bit cramped. That would not have been an issue but a rainy week forced us inside more than we would have liked. The location is beautiful - very close to First Lake and right off of Hollywood Road. The side road was excellent for dog walking……

“The cabin was exactly as listed - it was the perfect little spot for myself, my husband & two daughters (13 and 15). We enjoyed the lake access across the street as well as the coziness of the cabin with all amenities as noted. The girls loved the privacy of the upstairs loft area and we enjoyed the patio for cooking and bonfires.”

“The renter was extremely responsive and provided detailed information to make the whole process easy and stress-free. The kitchen, though small, had most of the amenities required to prepare meals readily available. For our purposes, the location was ideal to navigate to multiple places of interest. ”

“We stayed 3 nites.This was the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. Very clean, Perfect amount of space, we prepared dinner on the grill 1st nite and we used the kitchen stove the 2nd nite. We liked the screened in porch. Good hangout for us and the dog. My husbanc had the knowledge to run the generator, the battery pack and all the other ways to maintain a great stay. I we come around again we would definately stay again. Thankyou and Peace”

“Perfectly cute cabin! Recently updated kitchen and floors- quaint and exactly what our family of 4 needed to escape our regularly very busy lives. Awesome lake location, yard and beach- our late night beach campfires were a highlight of our stay!”

“Simple mountain cabin in remote location. Space in great for a couple or two singles. Property has plenty of elbow room with several other structures spread out across a giant clearing next to a lake. We hiked, swam, kayaked, fished and relaxed and enjoyed the views. We cooked dinner on the charcoal grill, and drank our morning coffee while listening to the birds. Hosts were attentive and chatted with us a few times. ”

“We had such a special week at the Cedar Ridge cabin! Seriously, nothing negative to say. We especially loved the access to boats and the nice swim area and dock, which were perfect for our young kids. The house was clean, had a well stocked kitchen, and the beds were super comfortable. Great communication from our host, too! Thanks for sharing this wonderful place. We definitely recommend staying here and can't wait to return soon!”

“The house was perfect for us. Very comfortable beds Nicely stocked kitchen ( we cooked a lot) On the highway but it was set back and we had lots of privacy. We met up with a large group of family staying in Eagle Bay and it accommodated that nicely. Larger than it looked in the photos ”
