“Clean, comfortable, peaceful place to step away and unwind. Chris is the best kind of host; all needs are addressed promptly and efficiently, he is not intrusive in the least but always available, and has thought of everything at the cabin to make it an easy, effortless stay. The surroundings are peaceful: river, woodchucks, birds, and foxes lend themselves to an enchanting atmosphere but never come too close to bother. “My mother-in-law has a bucket list of staying insome unique places so we booked this for her birthday. The caboose is very cool! The caboose is very clean. The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies if needed and a nice size refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. We would highly recommend staying here, especially if you know someone that loves trains or likes staying in one of a kind places.”

“Cabin 3 was new and very clean with a view of the lake and beach to our right. Very convenient and walkable into the small town of Eagle Bay or a little further to Inlet. ”

“We are a family of four with two children, ages 6 and 9. We enjoyed our two nights at this cabin. The upstairs bedroom configuration was fun for the kids. A little bit of Netflix and PBS kids when it was particularly rainy over the weekend, as well as the suitcase-full of games the kids brought with us. We weren't able to hike Bald Mntn as planned because of the rain, but the home's location was well settled in low-traffic side streets that permitted us to get in a nice walk/hike when the rain……
