“The owner was very responsive and helpful. He gave us advice on restaurants things to do in the area and how to get places. Everything he recommended was the best and spot on. It was a very authentic and comfortable house with everything you’d need. There were 3 twin beds, one queen and a couch that made to a twin so plenty of room for 6. The kitchen had a cooktop, fridge coffee maker, pots and pans dishes mugs glasses knifes everything you’d need to cook. He even left us fresh coconuts with……

“My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed La Finca Azul, and especially the family whose vision it is -- including Nacho, Oli, and Cece, the three dogs. I've stayed in agroturismos in Italy, and this was a very similar experience, complete with the fabulous food. I'm pretty sure Italy doesn't offer swimming by yourself in a mountain stream surrounded by the echoes of howler monkeys. ”

“Great stay at this wonderful accommodation property in La Fortuna. Days when it was raining or when clouds were over the Arenal Volcano, it was great to just sit on the back terrace and just observe all of the wildlife that come by. There is also a restaurant nearby (cost on the higher end, but worth it) for when you don't feel like driving into town. All three bedrooms were comfortable enough and did the trick for a few nights' stay!”

“My partner and I booked this property however when we arrived at 7pm, there was a large gate blocking the entrance and no one was there. We tried and tried to call and message the property and never received a response. La Fortuna is somewhat out in the country without many on the spot lodging options. It took us until 945 pm before we were able to get a far from desirable accommodations. We were preparing to sleep in our car by that time. We have yet to receive a refund or response. There……
