The small fenced yard allowed us to let our dog out for a quick break if she wasn’t with us on the town. The Love Shack is small, but comfortable and the location just can’t be beat. ”

“Great location, just a block from Elk Avenue. The house is charming, and the kitchen is well set up. The property management company does a very professional job.Two small things to mention: Watch your head in some parts of the upstairs — the ceiling can be low. And note that the bathrooms can be a little cramped.”

When we reached the historic, exceptionally renovated home we were impressed with the thoughtfully crafted upgrades inside a seemingly historic house. Our family enjoyed outdoor solo stove campfires, grilling, the ease to walk to CB's mainstream and the quick access to wonderful hikes and scenic views. Would definitely recommend……

I also discovered a pro tip for the directions..... when in carbondale download the directions via google maps. Although you will not have cell service the map will follow your progress. “Clean and spacious for a large family. 2 water heaters, never ran out of hot water. Quiet and beautiful. Lots of humming birds, turkeys, deer and horses that can be viewed from the deck. Deck goes completely around the house. All views are amazing. Great place to get away! ”
