“The place was clean and accommodated our needs. The negatives are there was no hairdryer available. Unable to find any outlets in the 2nd floor bathroom so you had to go to the first floor bathroom. There were no mirrors in the bedrooms so you couldn't use the hairdryer in the rooms. No blankets on the beds or in the closets. If you arrive when it is dark it is difficult to see the entrance because there was no light above or near there sign. They are also on a busy road.”

“Tyler & his wife Sara were so inviting. This is an old Inn with all the charms. Tyler’s wife made me a lovely welcome sign, a very personal touch. Felt very comfortable being here. Very close to a family owned market that sold lovely local items as well as home cooked food for takeout. Beer & wine available as well. ”

“It took me a bit to write this review because, in some way, it was hard to accept that the trip was over. But after some time to allow the feeling of being lakeside with a view that would most likely never leave our minds to sit in our minds, I can honestly say that it has been framed within them so as to bring us a smile, the same kind we had waking up there in the mornings when we had the pleasure of staying there! The house is an absolute dream come true, and everything, from the beautiful……

“We had a great stay at this hotel! Perfect little place with everything you need. Coffee was available in the room and downstairs by the desk and the room we stayed in had a fridge, microwave, stovetop, and all the cookware and glassware you need. It's definitely an older property but that is what gives it it's charm. Our TV did not work in our room but was not a huge deal. Front desk staff were kind and flexible. Would absolutely stay again and use the pool next time, it closes at 9p.”

“The Cozy Cottage nestled in the heart of Alton Bay, NH was just what my family of four needed for an extended holiday weekend getaway. My favorite keepsake from staying at Rich’s Cozy Cottage was most definitely the spectacular view and the live music heard from across the Bay while I relaxed on the comfy blue chairs in the large breezeway! We even brought our pugs and our 22 ft boat. Next time I hope to be able to reserve a dock, but the ramp is literally a five minute walk away.”

“Location is very convenient - grocery within a 10 min ride, easy access to the Lake, dining, and popular Winnipesaukee villages around the lake. The amenities were generous - including towels and linens at the location, travel shampoo/condition/soaps available, fully stocked kitchen with dish soap and other kitchen tools available. The kitchen is tight and the central artery of the house, which made it difficult with 12 people. I'd recommend bringing a mattress pad or something for the pull……

“This is a step up from camping, but with a nice vibe. We had a nice view of the lake from the deck. The room was clean and cozy. This was exactly as described. Great location too!”
