“I was in Ohio for a family reunion. The puppy could not stay at the lodge at Salt Fork, so I decided to stay at the cabin. I am easily overwhelmed by people and family is not excluded! Retreating to the cabin allowed me the serenity I needed.My only dislike were the unpaved roads. My car sits very low to the ground and the gravel did a number under my car. ”

“If you like a more secluded area, this house is GREAT! Our family enjoyed fishing off the dock, sitting on the porch that overlooked the pond, sitting in the hot tub near the pond, and playing games supplied by the homeowner. They really thought of everything! The owners were very easy to reach through text. We had a small issue the one night with the water, and he fixed it immediately. The wooded area that surrounded the house was beautiful. We saw deer and even a coyote one evening. ……

“When we booked we were expecting a single building. When we arrived we realized it was basically an apartment. But no one bothered us and it was a very pleasant stay. Puppies were a welcome extra.”

“Absolutely amazing!!! The house was gorgeous, the yard was beautiful, the surroundings was incredible. From sitting on the front porch in the morning listening to nature, watching animals, and smelling fresh air to watching a lightning storm roll in at night. The patio in the back yard was perfect to eat dinner the sit by the fire for smores. The have thought of every detail so the house had everthing we needed. The rooms are big with walk in closets. “Quaint little house. Nothing fancy but comfortable. Had a little musty smell. We opened the windows to let it air out but a small dehumidifier would help eliminate this issue. Just a few minutes from River Greens Golf Course. Walking distance to Rainbow Hills which is a nice little restaurant and brewery/winery. Short drive to Historic Roscoe Village which has lots of little shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Would stay here again. ”

“We had a great time, spending much of it in the pool. The diving board and pool slide were a hit and the water temp was fine. Property was nice to roam around and house was well maintained. Basement was perfect for activities during rain. Some remotes didnt have batteries. but really no issue as too much other stuff to do instead of watching tv.”
