“We definitely enjoyed our stay at Casa Paquita but cannot give it 5 stars since it is in need of much needed maintenance. It is unfortunate since the layout is outstanding, amazing view of ocean from pool and house, great pool, and perfect for large group. However, there were lots of ants in the house since there were major openings around doors and windows that were not sealed properly. This could be the norm in Costa Rica since it was our first time there, but we did not have these issues in……

“We celebrated my wifes 70th birthday here with friends and family, 15 in all. The positives: The house is lovely.. Beds were comfortable. The wildlife around the house was spectacular. The howler monkees would traipse through the trees in view of the pool area. The iguana ? and birds were also fascinating. The swimming pool was great, although overchlorinated to the point of bleaching hats etc. The golf carts were great to have. The negative: Communication with the owners/managers was horrible.……

“We had a great time in Costa Rica. We stayed at a condo at Bahia Longosta Condominiums. The location is nice, far enough away from the busy Tamarindo center bur close enough to walk and enjoy the restaurants. We stayed in #2 and thought it was a perfect place. We enjoyed the howler monkeys and the birds living in the small treed area next door and had easy access to the beaches. Lola, our concierge was wonderful and helped us arrange many things. We had a nice vacation and look forward to……

“This lovely villa was perfect for our family of 5 adults. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was well outfitted. Spacious living area and delightful porches. Felt very safe and secure. Would have appreciated better water pressure in the shower, but I also understand we were visiting a country that is working hard to control water usage. We would go back to this property any chance we had! ”
