“It was a cold and dreary weekend, but warm and cozy in front of the fireplace at this home. We had a wedding in this town and was able to visit and gather with family and friends at this home and at the wedding. Communication with host was adequate. Plenty of towels, kitchen utensils and pots and pans and even a full supply of spices. There are no overhead lights in this house. More lamps, stand lights brighter lightbulbs would be helpful.”

“The pictures are accurate representing this cozy and well-appointed country cottage. We stayed in the early spring and weather cooperated enough to enjoy a fire in the outdoor pit with the world’s most comfortable Adirondack chairs. Inside, the kitchen is the perfect size for our 4 adults. The couches are comfy for relaxing with a cocktail and great conversation. “We had an absolutely wonderful time, from pulling up in an epic lightning storm that we enjoyed on the porch to sitting on the rocking bench near the lake enjoying the water and swans nesting. My partner kayaked both days, while I lounged and enjoyed the excellent kitchen (remember to bring your own Tupperware/plastic wrap). It’s a delightful house and the hosts were so welcoming. Only thing to note is there are scented sheets and towels, so if scent sensitivity is an issue, bring some scent……

“This is a wonderful house on Clark Lake. Beautifully decorated, very comfortable and well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. Truly one of the nicest rentals we’ve been in for a long while. Our only recommendation is that the owners deep clean the BBQ grill. We love to grill and cooked chicken on the grill one evening, noticed that it badly needed cleaning. But that’s it - a terrific house!”

“We had 6 adults, aged 22- 53 stay at the house. It was clean and you can tell Germaine put a lot of thought into it. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a nice meal. We really appreciated the nice towels, for the shower as well as the hot tub! Numerous members of the group commented on how awesome the first floor shower was! Only about 10 minutes from MSU!
