“As advertised, except for the "walking distance to downtown." It's over a mile, no sidewalks, very hilly bendy road, difficult for cars and the plethora of work trucks to see you. We had some elderly folks planning to stroll into town, but that was a hard no. Maybe ok if you're young and active, but certainly don't plan on safely walking home at night. Otherwise, a pleasant old place. ”

“We've been staying in Maine for over a decade. They have a lovely property that has great views, easy trails and a nice beach. The house was perfect for a family of four to six and allows pets. Everything was wonderful!!!!”

“The house and grounds were very private. located overlooking a quiet lake. Although neighboring houses were in reasonably close proximity, the area was very quiet. The house was well stocked and comfortable for the two of us.. Opportunity was available for both indoor and outdoor dining. Bugs were at a minimum, Shhh!.We spent time exploring Hosmer Pond each day. Only occasional other boaters were on the lake. only small motors were allowed, so the noise was at a minimum.Check out the toboggan……

“This was the perfect place to stay for a family wedding weekend. Loved sitting on the deck with my morning coffee looking out over the harbor. Very quite neighborhood. Located a couple minutes from downtown Rockland, Owls Head Transportation just down the street along with the State Park. Wedding venue was 3 miles away in South Thomaston. It was exactly as described, comfy, cozy and allowed pets. Fenced in yard for the dog was a huge plus. Hosts were great. Would definitely stay here again!”
