“After researching hotels etc. I chose this hotel. I wanted more of a country feel to it and not right in downtown where it would be noisier & possibly hard to park your car. The front desk could be more friendlier & cheerful especially on the phone. Usually I call the property directly so I can have an idea of the surroundings since this was my first time there. “250 Main is truly like "stepping into contemporary Europe" as the property is stunning and eclectic. The staff were very accommodating and informative during our stay. The parking situation is "amenable", but a result of our stay coinciding with the back-to-back Lobster Fest and Maine Boat Show weekends.
