“We went off season and liked the location - convenient to Camden, Rockport, Thomaston, etc - walking Rockland is wonderful - shops that were open were great - open restaurants were good - local people awesome. Hotel offered more options than normal for free breakfast including eggs and meats. Great balcony facing the working harbor and Vinelhaven Ferry - would love to see some hardscaping or landscaping in front of hotel parking lot once new road paving is done (soon). “Extremely easy self-check in after hours. Property was clean and staff checking out the next morning was very friendly and personable. Only comment was that floor seemed a little uneven - part of the charm of an older property I guess! Very quiet off-season stay - would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Close to many amenities. Didn't sit down to breakfast, but charming porch seemed to have a pretty decent selection of options, and the juice I grabbed to go was good!”

“We have been here many times and live locally but enjoy coming for an overnight once or twice a year as a retreat close to home. The rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable. I come for the fantastic jacuzzi tubs and European shower! We have never been disappointed. ”
