It exceeded our expectations(I’m picky) snacks greeted us on the dining table, we made use of the organic teas and coffee station daily. “This was such a great escape from the city hustle and bustle. Our hosts were AWESOME. The apartment had everything we needed. The alpacas and the host cocker spaniel were the cherry on top. Most relaxing weekend I've had in a very long time. Take a moment to relax in the hammock while watching the alpacas do their thing. Will most definitely be going back. I recommend this stay to anyone wanting to relax and get back to nature.”

“We just spent another wonderful week at this lake house!This is our second visit in 2 years and this review is simply a repeat of last year's review. Nothing has changed except a larger bed in main bedroom, a nicer ladder into the lake, and fewer life jackets in the closet. “My only hesitation in leaving such a glowing review is the fear it won’t be available the next time I’m in Fort Scott! This place is absolutely amazing. The host was fantastic, everything was spotless and the location couldn’t be better. I’ll definitely be staying here again ... fingers crossed it’s available! Five stars all the way!”

“This place is perfect if you are wanting some peace and quiet. The owners were very nice and responsive. Beautiful country views. I would have explored more but it was pretty hot while I was there. It has a nice porch where you can view the skies and listen to birds. I will definitely visit again! ”
