“We loved the place. Two problems: we were not told about the “no shoes indoors” until the night before which was an issue for my mother who wears an ankle brace and has to wear shoes to cover that brace- this was problematic to take shoes off and on and get around without the stability of her shoes. If we had more time we possibly could have made accommodation for her. We also did not get the WiFi code until day two which caused my son to go into massive apoplexy ( ) maybe have that available……

“Stay was beautiful and the space was as listed. It does get cold- so managing all the space heaters in different rooms required some coordination. Manager was communicative and kind. The only challenge while traveling with elders with limited mobility was the stairs in front of the house- we took it easy on those. ”

“I have never heard of Graeagle and never planned to visit. I came here for a wedding and was pleasantly surprised at the small community and very modern cabin style home! The home looked exactly like the pictures. It was welcoming, comfy, spacious, and conveniently located in a small town. The home had everything we needed and some entertainment for kids with games and outdoor play. No regrets staying here and communicating with the owner was a breeze! ”

“What an amazing trip I had with my hubby and friends. The Calpine Mountain retreat a spacious but cozy place to get away and recharge. We have always enjoyed this area as the Sierra hotsprings are close by. Check in process was the easiest I have yet to experience. Property is nestled in the forest with a village vibe. Neighbors are far away enough to enjoy the scenic view from the deck. Restaurants and stores close by and a list of recommendations from the host. We enjoyed the big comfy couch,……

“We stayed Christmas week at Mara's house in Graeagle. The place was exactly what we needed. The kitchen was well provisioned and it was a joy to cook there! We had a great snow day giving us a chance for some excellent snow play in fresh snow next to Jameson Creek. The christmas tree and decorations added an extra touch! We made a lot of fun memories. Thank you Mara!P.S. We worked remotely some days - and the wifi and internet was great!”
